About
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and my work a little more
You could say that this very specialized line of photography found me in the same way horses did. Horses have been in my life since I was a little girl, teaching me to trust instinct and to follow what feels right. That’s what led me here.
I still remember my first pony ride at four years old. My cousin went before me, screaming the whole time. When it was my turn, I just laughed with pure joy, until they tried to take me off. That was the start of a lifelong love. By 13, I was sneaking onto a horse named Babette with a couple of buckets, riding bareback through raspberry canes on summer mornings. We ate berries in the sun, and I never forgot that moment.
Those are the kinds of memories I try to preserve for people now. Real, unposed, fleeting moments you wish you could bottle up forever.
My own horse, Liberty, has given me countless memories like that. Because of her, I understand what these connections mean, whether it’s with horses, pets, and the people who love them. That’s what I photograph: relationships, emotion, and truth. I’m especially drawn to the way light carries feeling—the warmth of the sun on a quiet connection, the drama of shadow in a fleeting glance. For me, light is more than illumination; it’s the heartbeat of emotion, and I love using it to tell a story that feels alive.
I’m grateful every day that I get to do this. Let’s create something real together.
