There’s planning, and then there’s what happens naturally. Shoots can become convivial and festive when sessions are conducted in a group, pop-up format. Sure, there’s a method to executing these, but the perfect example was a recent pop-up I had the privilege of shooting in Tenino, Wash., with a fabulous group of women, their horses and dogs.
